OPM singer-songwriter TJ Monterde has made history by wrapping up his three-night sold-out concert series, “Sarili Nating Mundo,” at the Araneta Coliseum. This achievement marks him as the first male solo Filipino artist to sell out three consecutive nights at the iconic venue.
The concerts, held from February 1 to 3, 2025, featured Monterde serenading the audience with his beloved hits such as “Ikaw at Ako,” “Puhon,” and “Huling Luha.” Each night had its unique highlights, with surprise guest appearances by Arthur Nery and K-drama OST singer 10CM on the final night. The duo also debuted their upcoming collaboration, “Silver,” to the delight of fans
Monterde expressed his gratitude and disbelief at the overwhelming support from his fans. He shared emotional moments from the concerts, including the special significance of performing “Aurora” on the second night and the confidence he felt by the third night
Adding to the excitement, Billboard Philippines awarded Monterde and his wife, KZ Tandingan, for having the number one song on the Hot 100 Billboard Philippines and the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs chart. The concerts also featured several surprise proposals from the audience, making the event even more memorable.
Following the success of his Araneta shows, Monterde is set to take “Sarili Nating Mundo” on tour, starting with a performance in Davao on March 1, followed by a tour across the US and Canada
