MANILA, Philippines — Dongfeng Motors Philippines officially launched the new Dongfeng Vigo EV at the East Wing Atrium, GH Mall, in front of Uniqlo, introducing a smart, accessible electric SUV designed to elevate everyday mobility for Filipino drivers. Positioned as a practical yet innovative electric vehicle, the Vigo EV combines advanced technology, premium comfort and everyday usability. It reflects Dongfeng’s commitment to making electric mobility more attainable while enhancing convenience, efficiency and driving enjoyment for modern users.

The Vigo EV is officially priced at PHP 1,458,000, positioning it as a competitively priced electric SUV in the local market.
The model delivers an impressive 471-kilometer driving range, supporting both daily urban commutes and long-distance travel with reduced charging frequency and greater confidence on the road.
Charging performance is a key highlight. The Vigo EV is equipped with a CCS2 (Combined Charging System Type 2) inlet for fast DC charging and a Type 2 connection for AC charging. Using advanced 3C fast-charging technology, it delivers peak power of up to 154 kW. Efficient charging can be completed in as little as 18 minutes, while a five-minute rapid charge can add up to 114 kilometers of range, making it highly practical for quick top-ups during travel or daily use.
Designed for versatility, the Vigo EV features a two-section tailgate that improves loading access for luggage, groceries and sports equipment. Inside, it is fitted with Zero Pressure Breathable Seats with heating and cooling functions, offering enhanced comfort across varying weather conditions.
The vehicle also introduces Nap and Camp modes, engineered for extended comfort and flexibility while parked. These intelligent settings use the EV’s battery to regulate cabin temperature and power onboard electronics, transforming the SUV into a mobile rest space or campsite for users on the go.
For added safety and driving confidence, the Vigo EV is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), offering intelligent support features designed to enhance awareness and help improve overall driving safety. Availability of specific functions may vary depending on local market specifications.
Convenience is further elevated through an advanced voice recognition control system, while a Music External Play Mode transforms the vehicle into an outdoor entertainment hub for gatherings and road trips.
